| Please pray for Britan, Vaunda & Carrson Bloodworth. Britan fell from a roof on Monday & has several injuries one being his right arm. He had surgery on the arm yesterday. It's going to be a long road for the family so please pray for them. Vaunda is a 2nd grade teacher at the Elem school in Hawkinsville. |

Joseph Allen Calhoun, 82, of Hawkinsville, Ga. died Wednesday, July 7, 2010 at his residence. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, July 10, 2010 in the chapel of Clark Funeral Home with the Rev. Will Archibald and Royce Graham officiating. Burial will be in Spradley Cemetery in Unadilla, Ga.
Mr. Calhoun was a native of Dooly County, Ga. and a member of Harmony Baptist Church. He was retired from Civil Service at Robins Air Force Base.
Survivors include his wife, Gayle Talley Calhoun of Hawkinsville, Ga.; daughters, Jo Smith of Hawkinsville, Ga., Connie Harrison of Haynesville, Ga. and Sonya Popken of Warner Robins, Ga.; 10 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren and sister, Virginia Henderson of Charlotte, North Carolina.
Pallbearers will be Kelly Courson, Ronnie Courson, Brad Sirmons, Alton Calhoun, William Cross and Royce Cross.
Visitation will be Friday evening from 6 to 8 p.m. at Clark Funeral Home.

James Luther Rhodes, 80, of Pineview, Ga. died Thursday, July 8, 2010 at Pineview Health Care Center in Pineview, Ga. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, July 11, 2010 at Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church with Rev. Freddy Hogg and Rev. Eldridge Bowen officiating. Burial will be in Mt. Pleasant Church Cemetery.
Mr. Rhodes was a native of Wilcox County, Ga. and a member of Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church. He was a self-employed piano tuner. He was preceded in death by his parents, John Henry and Della Mae Pope Rhodes; sister, Annie Laura Livingston and brother, Eugene Rhodes.
Survivors include his wife, Virginia Elise Rhodes of Pineview, Ga.; daughters, Diane Bentley of Pineview, Ga. and Joanne Rountree (Buddy) of Bonaire, Ga.; son, John Luther Rhodes (Jean) of Pineview, Ga.; brother, David Rhodes of Pineview, Ga.; sisters, Martha Bloodworth of Tifton, Ga. and Johnnie Mae Helms of Hawkinsville, Ga.; 7 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be Saturday evening from 6 to 8 p.m. at Clark Funeral Home.
Flowers will be accepted but the family requests that donations be made to the James Rhodes Memorial Fund at Planters First, Hawkinsville, Ga.

| Please pray for my cousin Ralph Talley's family, Their 34 yr old son went home to be with the Lord this past weekend. This was such a shock to the whole family. Personal family problems may have been a contributing factor we don't know yet for sure how or why this happened to such a young man other than The Lord called him home. |

Sarah Ann Talley
September 16, 1943 - June 21, 2010
Biography
Sarah Ann Talley, 66, of 823 Mitchell Rd., Rochelle, Ga., passed away June 21, 2010 at her home after an extended illness. A Memorial Service will be held at First Baptist Church, Rochelle on June 23rd at 3:00 PM with Reverend Dillard Ensley and Darren Talley officiating. The family will receive friends in the fellowship hall after the service. Music will be provided by the Golden Voices Senior Adult Choir of First Baptist Church of Rochelle, of which she was a member.
A housewife and dedicated mother, Mrs. Talley is survived by her husband of 46 years, Derrel Talley; two sons, Jeffrey (Lynn) Talley of Valdosta, Ga. and Darren (April) Talley of Rentz, Ga.; two sisters, Martha (Hal) Cason of Demorest, Ga. and Lydia (Bill) White of Cleveland, Ga., three grandchildren and one great-grandchild and a number of nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Cynthia Ann and her parents, Rev. and Mrs. John Fuller of Helen, Ga.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to the Crisp Regional Hospice, 910 N. 5th St., Cordele, Ga. 31015, The Ga. Baptist Disaster Region 8 Relief, C/O Ogeechee River Baptist Association, 17 N. College St., Statesboro, Ga., 30548 or your favorite charity.
